So, I hopped onto a redeye to get to fashion week.  My life’s been moving at a speed only the autobahn knows and any planning that happens comes on the fly.  I’ve been really…living in the present? Well, my flight arrived pretty much an hour early.  5am to be exact.  Nothing was open yet and my commute was only 30 minutes to the hotel.  When I arrived at Langham Place, just before 6am, I asked if I could just set up shop on their super comfortable silver couch in the lobby, computer and phone plugged in and all, and waited for my partner in crime that week to wake up.  Coffee after coffee I looked through Instagram to see what connections were around.  Timur Emek popped up on my feed and I reached out.  I’ve been following him for some time since he’s been crushing the game and photographing every “in” model and blogger around.  He responded (yes, photographers, unite!) and we struck up a deal.  3 hours later, Ash finally woke up.  We met up with Timur later, after chasing him around NYC in our uber.  He was on his way to The Ludlow Hotel to shoot Chiara Ferragni top Italian blogger.  Fortunately we connected and Ash got to shoot with him.  He may or may not have liked her so much he shot her again the next day.  😉  Goals accomplished.  Some of my favorite things in the world are connecting amazing people together.  Spread the love, spread the beauty.
